This is one of those books that has become dated with time simply because many of the avenues that Haywood speaks of in this book have been tightened. The book primarily discusses what is called “bonus hustling” or “bonus whoring“. This is the process of joining online casinos with the distinct strategy of playing for the sign up bonuses, accumulating the bonuses and then leaving and playing somewhere else.

This process may have been easier some years ago but many of the sites have merged now onto far larger networks so getting away with this constantly may be very difficult unless you have the capacity to change your IP address and payment details. Even then the requirements for you to work off the bonus could be substantial and may not be worth your while.

Still……..taking advantage of sign up bonuses is something that no online casino player should ignore as it has a significant impact on your bottom line. Since Bill Haywood wrote this book, online gambling has become far safer and most of the dodgy online casinos have fallen by the wayside thankfully.

In my opinion, bonus hustling is better suited to online poker if you are a strong enough player and you can work off your bonus multi-tabling reasonably quickly. However there is fierce competition to get your money with all online casinos and the savvy player can use this to their advantage.

I don’t know if bonus hustling is a viable strategy anymore but I think that a player could end up breaking even doing this and that is not a bad way to be entertained is it? I cannot rate Haywood’s book highly because it is dated but it could prove inspirational for players who want nothing more than to be entertained at the cheapest possible cost.

RATING………..7/10
