I tend to play my nut flush draws pretty fast in no limit ring games against a single opponent. This is especially the case if I have position on my side and also if the raiser came from fairly late position. This is where full ring games differ from six max games because the ranges will be tighter. Let us say that an UTG player raises in six max. In this situation then there are only three other players with position on them.
In fact the raising range of an average reg in the hijack seat is pretty wide compared to full ring and this is a seat that is often seen as the new steal seat. However a raiser coming from early position in a full ring game will be doing so with a much tighter range and many players will only be raising with hands like AA-JJ, AK and AQ+. Even a loose early position player may be only raising with TT+, AJs+, AQ+ and KQs.
So if you are thinking about playing back at any of those ranges then you need to be aware that your opponent will have a pocket pair in some instances a significant percentage of the time depending on their raising range. If the range is JJ+, AK, AQs+ then being aggressive with a draw needs to be clarified. Many players look to three bet with hands like 8-7s but I prefer calling with position rather than three betting if I think that my opponents range is tight.
