5. RASHID KHAN

Who exactly is “Rashid Khan“…….well first of all it is an alias just like Stanford Wong except in this case I am not going to reveal his real name. Rashid Khan was a gentlemen who took quite substantial amounts of money from roulette in the UK and in Europe around 6-8 years ago by means of exploiting bias wheels and dealer signatures.

This is a man who very few people are aware even exists in a gaming capacity and the gaming industry will certainly have his face and picture on record and even his name and address but they will be totally unaware of what he has done. Although having said that you have to give these people credit and as soon as large amounts of money are lost for whatever reason then they always look closely to see if there are adverse reasons.

So what makes Rashid Khan so special? This is a very good question because the amounts that he made from roulette were absolutely dwarfed by the huge sums won by Joseph Jagger and Billy Walters (to come).

My estimates are that Khan won an estimated £250,000 but what makes that so special is two things. The amount that he bet each time was relatively low so he had to place quite a large number of bets to win that money. Secondly the wheels that he found and exploited were the modern John Huxley low profile wheels.  These wheels are far superior to wheels that have even been in existence.

So in my mind, what Khan did was exceptional but the fact he is no longer trying to emulate those feats could be indicative of the fact that the gaming industry was on to him very early on…..either that or the latest wheels were so good that detecting bias and other forms of weakness was simply nigh on impossible.
