Having worked inside casinos for nine years and now being in a situation where I have nothing to conceal then what I say can be deemed to be an honest answer. But the people who ask this question really dont look at the facts closely enough or in the right way. If they did then they could very much answer this question themselves. Firstly I will start off by saying that no casino that I ever worked for actually cheated and I worked for several.

Why should they when the odds are always in their favour. But if you look at this in a different way, imagine how many people currently either work inside casinos or have worked in them in the past. I woudn’t even like to hazard a guess as to how big this number actually is. In the UK alone there are some 140 casinos. If we assume an average of 40 gaming staff combining dealers, inspectors, pit bosses and managers then this equates to roughly nearly 6000 just in the UK alone who currently have access to the information on whether or not casinos cheat.

Multiply that worldwide and you probably get around a million people. Then add to that the number of people who have worked in the industry who have now left and we are talking tens of millions. So it is safe to assume then that if there was some great secret that the gaming industry was keeping from us all that someone somewhere would have spilled the beans just out of spite.

I worked in them for nine years and most of those were unhappy years for loads of reasons. If I knew that casinos cheated then I have enough grievances to blow the gaff…..trust me they are straight. Its the punters that frequent them that are not.

There has always been an element of paranoia regarding casinos, buttons under the tables, false shoes etc etc etc. All casinos need to do is to make sure that enough people walk through their door and that the games are dealt on the level. If they can assure themselves of those two things then they will make money.

see you soon
